Before I built websites for other people, I built one for myself. Elite Car Detailing is my detailing studio in Richmond Hill, and its website is the clearest proof I can give you that the approach I sell actually works. I am not pointing you at a client logo or a testimonial I cannot verify. I am pointing you at my own livelihood.
The situation
When we started Elite, we had no website at all. Every booking came through word of mouth or a direct message, which meant our reach stopped at the people who already knew us. A detailing studio lives or dies on whether a stranger nearby can find it in the moment they decide their car needs work. In that moment, we did not exist. Worse, with no real presence online, we looked smaller and less established than we actually were, and that makes it hard to charge what premium work is worth.
So the goal was never just to have a website. The goal was to be the studio that shows up first when someone in York Region searches for detailing, and to turn that visit into a booked job without me having to answer a single text.
The approach
I built Elite the same way I now build for clients, around how a real customer actually decides. The homepage earns trust fast with before-and-after work and a clear standard of quality. The services and pricing pages lay out six programmes, from a quick refresh up to multi-day paint correction, so a visitor self-selects their budget before they ever reach out. The gallery does the convincing that words cannot.
The design stays deliberately restrained, because a calm, premium-looking site signals a premium operation. Two of us run Elite, but online it reads like the most established studio in the region.
Then the booking page removes every reason to hesitate. Nothing is due at the time of booking, confirmation comes back within two hours, and we come to the customer. By the time someone taps reserve, the site has already answered the questions that otherwise turn into a dozen back-and-forth messages. Underneath all of it, the site is built to be found, with clean structure, genuine local keywords, and fast load times that tell Google exactly what we do and where.
The result
Elite now ranks first or second on Google for "car detailing Richmond Hill," the single search that matters most in our market. That position brings in real bookings from people who had never heard of us, with nothing spent on ads. The studio has detailed more than five hundred vehicles, holds a five-star Google rating, and books everything from a quick interior revival to multi-day corrections on cars like a client's Audi RS7. The website is not a brochure sitting in a corner.
It is the thing that fills the calendar.
Why it matters for your business
Your trade is not detailing, but the problem is identical. Customers are searching for what you do right now, and they book whoever looks credible and makes it easy. If your business still runs on referrals and a phone that does not always get answered, you are invisible at the exact moment a new customer is ready to commit.
Elite is the foundation version of what I build. For trades and service businesses, I add a layer on top of it, the AI Lead Receptionist, which captures and qualifies inquiries around the clock so a lead never slips away while you are under a sink or up on a roof. Same philosophy, wider coverage. The website earns the visit, and nothing that arrives goes to waste.
I built this for my own business because I needed it to work, not to demo it. It works. I would be glad to do the same for yours.
